Only when dawn breaks from the darkness of night, can there be a brief moment of shallow overlap; day and night alternate only without replacement, and it’s impossible to imagine each other’s world. We still insist on waiting in the original places, still stand opposite to each other as two worlds.
From the song
The Day Never Knows the Darkness of the Night
Released in 1995, “The day never knows the darkness of the night” is a song with exquisite details, sense of picture and imagery. Na Ying, who was its original singer, admitted that she had encountered many other good songs, but never encountered any song that touched her so much like this one. Only by moving ourselves can we then move others. We are the listeners who were moved by this song in that era.
